Maintenance Planner in an Industrial Bakery
In our client’s bakery, you’ll oversee a cutting-edge machine and robot lineup. You’ll identify and prioritize machine and robot issues, production line problems, and maintenance needs. You’ll decide what’s urgent and what can be scheduled, ensuring maintenance stops align with production schedules.
You’ll document all findings in the maintenance management system, passing assignments to technicians and providing technical guidance while ensuring work quality. When needed, you’ll jump in and work alongside the team. Collaboration is key here – you’ll be part of a team that works together to achieve the best results.
Your role also includes:
- Scheduling staff for inspections, checks, and service on breakdowns and maintenance.
- Following up on actions from maintenance plans, reports, and planned repairs.
- Ensuring that technicians have the right tools, materials, and parts, managing contacts with suppliers to make it happen.
What We Seek
As a person, you have extensive technical knowledge and expertise, which you share with your team. You determine the approach to tasks within projects, can clearly see the end goal, and know how to set priorities accordingly.
More requirements for this position:
- You hold a qualification or diploma in a technical field as millwright or similar, and you’re eager to learn new things.
- You have several years of experience in maintenance planning.
- You are fluent in Afrikaans and English.
- You are proficient in Dutch.
